A new survey by comScore showing who is using the iPads points out that iOS still wins over Android, with 59% more people using iOS than Android.

iOS 4.3.2 To Be Released In Coming 2 Weeks

Minor bug fixes and improvements came with iOS 4.3.1 released March 25th. Now, Boy Genius Reports that Apple could be releasing iOS 4.32 in the next two weeks.

We’ve just been told by one of our Apple ninjas that the company is working on another iOS 4.3.x release: iOS 4.3.2. It’s said to include a few enhancements, address security issues, and it will also fix several bugs that have affected users.

The software update release will support  for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.

Anchor Fooled Into Licking An iPad During Live Broadcast

A news anchor was fooled by her colleague into smelling and licking an iPad during live broadcast. She was convinced that the app Virtual Sip lets you taste and smell things right on your iPhone or iPad.

Warner Bros. Launches App-Based Feature Films

Yesterday, Warner Brothers announced that they will begin selling movies as apps in the Apple Store. The apps offer a downloadable version as well as a streaming version of the movie.

So far, Inception is available for $11.99, and The Dark Knight for $9.99.

The apps are available as universal apps for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, they offers subtitles and have a component that allow users to interact via Facebook and Twitter.

Games for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad are quickly evolving in quality and game play. This rapid evolution is part thanks to a huge sales revenue. Just today, Electronic Arts revealed that it’s mobile game sale gross for Q3 reached $59 million, surpassing its other businesses platforms for the first time. The latest EA iOS game release Dead Space, is a great example of what mobile gaming can do in terms of quality and game play.
