Since its release in April we’ve seen all sorts of unique uses for the iPad and this one follows suit. The guys at BreakfastNY using a modified BlimpDuino have created a Blimp controlled by the iPad. The blimp utilizes the iPad’s accelerometer through custom software which connects to a built in computer on the blimp so that when the iPad screen is tilted, the blimp turns. It also comes complete with integrated cockpit view. Let’s hope the blimp shortly becomes available for consumer release. Until then, you’ll just have to be content with controlling your car with your Apple device.
