In less than four years the iPhone has gone to account from zero to half of Apple’s business.
In just the last quarter Apple reports $12.3 billion in iPhone sales, 50 percent of its overall revenue. With the iPad and the iPod touch included, Apple gets about two-thirds of its revenue from iOS devices.
Apple is growing fast as a company. With overall sales reported at $24.7 billion last quarter, Apple grew 83 percent year-over-year.
Today is April 1, April Fools’ Day and there are many jokes going around. Now as Amazon releases its Cloud Service, Lala founder Bill Nguyen says that Apple purchase of Lala was for the people, not for service.
Jim at Loopinsight.com reports that Apple has started sending out invites to the iPad 2 which will be held on March 2nd.
According to the invitation received by The Loop, the event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 am. This is the same venue Apple has used to introduce a number of products in recent years.
The invite above kills all rumors that had the iPad 2 being delayed until June.
On January 27, 2010 Apple introduced the iPad, and since then the iPad has been called magical, electric and has changed the way we browse the web, do business and interact with people.
