Aside from being St. Jean the Baptiste day, today the iPhone 4 was birthed.  This time, there was  no “unfortunate” leak in Vietnam, but rather a true and planned release in stores.  Lines were going around the block as eager users were and still are waiting to get their hands on a new iPhone 4.  I have a strong feeling there were many people experiencing a “sick” day or at least coming in late to work today.  My friend got his iPhone 4 today:

So while you may not have pre-ordered your phone like my smart friend did, you still have a chance to gain techie cred by going to get your iPhone 4 today.  You probably won’t have as much street cred as my friend though because you know when a man wears a shirt that says “Have You Hugged This Shirt Today?” that he means business.
